Silver Reliquary Holy Relic St Andrew the Apolste (Ex Ossibus) 18th C

Silver reliquary from the 18th Century containing a First-Class relic (bone – ex ossibus) of Saint Andrew the Apostle, Martyr & Patron of Scotland, with its original episcopal Wax Seal and threads intact at the back.

 
Reliquary description

Reliquary made of silver from the XVIII Century. Safely kept under a glass we can see the relic with its name resting on a velvet background, surrounded by a beautiful floral paperolles decoration and surrounded by a silver bullion thread.
At the back of the reliquary, we find the Cardinal’s wax seal holding the red silk threads and ensuring its authenticity.
 
Condition
Great condition. No missing parts. The threads and wax seal are intact. Beautiful patina.
