Identified by the interior label “S. Gregor. VII C.”
This early twentieth-century oval reliquary presents the small fragment against a rich red textile ground, bordered by delicate metallic trim and protected beneath a glazed front. Its silver-plated metal case incorporates a suspension loop. The restrained design creates a dignified focus for prayer and remembrance of this steadfast defender of the Church.
