Reliquary Description 
Framed reliquary from the 19th Century, France. Beautiful nun´s work garnished with fine gold leaf paperolles in an intricate arrangement of floral motifs surrounding the Holy Relics which in turn circle the True Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ. 
At the back, we find traces of 4 Episcopalean wax seals guaranteeing that the origin of the relics is from the Church.
Everything is protected by methacrylate glass (modern replacement)
Condition
Great overall condition. no damage or missing parts inside, the relics are intact in their original place and the same with the paperrolles work. The glass has been replaced with a modern material.
