Extraordinary 19th century Jesuit reliquary with its original episcopal Wax Seals and threads intact, containing 5 First Holy Relics of Founders and Saints of the Society of Jesus:

Reliquary description

Made of brass from the XIXth Century, empire style decorated with fine angels (putti), floral motifs and rocailles. Safely kept under a glass we can see the relics with their names resting on a scarlet silk background surrounded by silver bullion thread.
At the back of the reliquary, we find the Spanish wax seal of His Eminence Costantino Patrizi Naro, Rome’s Vicar General and Cardinal-Bishop of Albano holding the scarlet silk threads guaranteeing the authenticity of the holy relics.
Condition
Mint condition. No missing parts. The threads and wax seal are intact and in their place. Beautiful patina.
