Reliquary 1st Class Relic St. Peter the Apostle + Wax Seal

This early 20th-century reliquary contains a First-Class relic (Ex Ossibus) of Saint Peter the Apostle. The back of the reliquary features the profile of Jesus Christ along with an intact red wax episcopal seal, a mark of ecclesiastical authority that guarantees the authenticity and integrity of the relic. 
 
Peter, one of the Twelve Apostles of Christ, is revered as the first leader of the early Church and is traditionally recognized as the first Bishop of Rome, later honored as the first pope. His relic is displayed beneath glass in a devotional mount, allowing the faithful to venerate the tangible remains of the saint who played a foundational role in Christianity.
