Reliquary 1st Class Relic of Blessed Bernard of Offida + Wax Seal

This 19th-century reliquary preserves a First-Class relic Ex Ossibus of Blessed Bernard of Offida. The relic is carefully displayed under glass, framed by delicate silver bullion thread and fine filigree set against a silk background, reflecting the craftsmanship dedicated to honoring sacred remains. 
 
On the reverse, the reliquary bears an unbroken red wax episcopal seal and four-thread configuration, guaranteeing its authenticity and ecclesiastical approval. 
 
Objects like this not only safeguarded relics but also offered the faithful a tangible connection to the holy figure, blending artistry, devotion, and the continuity of veneration.
 
Born in 1604 in Italy, Bernard joined the Capuchin Order and became known for his humility, charity, and deep devotion to the Eucharist. Beatified in 1795, he is remembered as a model of simple, faithful service within the Franciscan tradition.

Good condition. Minor wear to the silver frame consistent with age. Wax seal and threads remain intact.
