Blessed Irmengard
Blessed Irmengard of Chiemsee (c. 830–866) was a Bavarian noblewoman and the daughter of King Louis the German, part of the Carolingian dynasty. She became the abbess of the Benedictine convent at Frauenwörth Abbey on Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria, which she revitalized as a center of spirituality and learning.
