Reliquary 18th C. Italian Agnus Dei Holy Relic in Silver Double-Sided, Vatican

Rare and devotional 18th-century Agnus Dei relic enclosed in a double-sided reliquary pendant, likely of Italian origin and Vatican provenance. The relic features a wax impression depicting the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei)—a sacred symbol in Catholic tradition, often blessed by the Pope during Holy Years or special occasions.
The wax relic is encased under hand-cut glass, preserving the integrity and detail of the sacred image. The pendant is mounted in a silver frame with a suspension loop for devotional wearing or display. This type of object would have been used for personal protection and spiritual reflection, especially by clergy or devout laity.
