19th Cent Reliquary 1st Class Relic St. Stephen + Wax Seal

19th-century brass reliquary containing a First-Class relic of Saint Stephen, the first Christian martyr and a central figure of early Church history. The sacred fragment is carefully preserved beneath glass and arranged according to traditional ecclesiastical practice, reflecting the devotional character and craftsmanship of the period.
At the back of the reliquary, we find an episcopalian wax seal holding the threads together and guaranteeing the authenticity of the holy relic. The reverse also features a delicate representation of the Virgin Mary in profile, adding a Marian dimension to its devotional significance.
This reliquary stands as a meaningful object of faith, honoring the witness of Saint Stephen and embodying the enduring tradition of relic veneration in the 19th century.
