19th C. Silver Reliquary Ex Indumentis Relic of Saint John Gabriel Perboyre
This exceptional 19th-century silver hallmarked reliquary contains an Ex Indumentis relic of Saint John Gabriel Perboyre, a revered martyr of the Vincentian Congregation. The relic, beautifully displayed on a vibrant red silk background, is carefully encased in an oval silver reliquary, exemplifying the refined craftsmanship of the era.
The reverse of the reliquary features an intact ecclesiastical wax seal, providing assurance of the relic's authenticity and its historical ecclesiastical connection. The front is adorned with Saint John Gabriel Perboyre's name and intricate floral motifs, which enhance its spiritual and artistic significance.
