18th Cent. Silver Reliquary 2nd Class St. Anthony of Padua Relic

Exquisite 18th-century silver reliquary containing a Second-Class relic of Saint Anthony of Padua. Inside, the relic is displayed alongside a finely crafted gilt-metal figure of the saint, depicted holding the Child Jesus — a traditional representation emphasizing his humility and devotion.
The refined silver frame and careful arrangement of the relic and figure reflect the craftsmanship and piety characteristic of 18th-century devotional art. Reliquaries of this kind served as precious objects of veneration, uniting sacred presence with artistic elegance in honor of one of Christianity’s most beloved saints.
